Kathie the Mail Girl's Mother's Cookies is the latest from Julie Van Rosendaal

 Her career began with a cookie bakery and catering company, and has since written twelve best selling cookbooks. Julie lives in Calgary, where she talks about on food on CBC Radio, writes about it in the Globe and Mail and other publications, makes podcasts, teaches cooking classes and loves eating, cooking and feeding people. 

Julie Van Rosendaal shared a love of cooking with her grandmother, Madelon. A few years ago, the gift of her grandmother’s well-used recipe cards led Julie back into the kitchen at a time when she needed it most. This book is a selection of her treasured recipes, including buttery cookies credited to a great-aunt's co-worker's mother, one great grandmother's biscuits and the other's butter tarts, compiled to comfort and nourish generations to come.
