A gold Milagros Hand of Love necklace on gold-filled paperclip chain and with a hand-made oxidized brass heart charm.   Milagros, most famous in Mexico, means "miracle" or "surprise" in Spanish.  The hand charm on it's own symbolizes strength and goodwill to others, but when it grasps something else it carries the secondary meaning of the new charm.  In this case, it grasps a heart - and it's new meaning becomes strength of love.  

The gold plated Milagros hand charm is attached to a 14kt gold filled paper clip chain.  The raw brass heart, created and finished by a small New England factory, has been ozidized to create that black color. It is meant to wear - over time it will turn a brassy copper color in spots. Consider it a well-loved necklace when that happens. Assembled in our Hoboken, NJ office.
