Once a pear is harvested from its branch, it can ripen to its full potential to be deliciously enjoyed. This belowved fruit is actually part of th erose fmaily, and is very versatile as it's used in many popular recipes and desserts. Unlike some other fruits, the pear usually keeps its same goden hue during ripening, though it may change ever so slightly. It was considered a sacred fruit in Greek mysthology and is even a symbol of imortality in China.

The golden pear pendance is cast in hand patinated bronze and accented with 24kt gold powder coated cast glass pear.
